Byron had been calling my Mom and I. We flew from Sydney to Ballina and rented a car to drive to Byron. We stayed at a rad little Airbnb right up the street from Top Shop Byron Bay. (SUCH delicious Acai Bowls) – probably the best I’ve had in Australia so far, had relaxing time at the beach and checked out the local restaurants and bars.
Random story: So my mom and I went to the Farm Byron, thinking that would be our day trip of the day and as we were there, I had the idea to go to D Bar cafe on the Gold Coast. I hadn’t been there in a few years and thought it would be a fun little adventure. Next thing I know, one of my best friends, Cristina from South Africa, who had been doing a road trip up the coast of Australia, was also on her way to that same cafe. It was magic.
